Forest Impression Posted by twinkleme on Dec 30, 2013 in arts, impressions, nature, nostalgia, photography | 5 Comments This collection of images is dedicated to my siblings and childhood friends. The captions are personal, a reminiscence that I hope would warm our adult hearts and lighten our minds from the everyday responsibilities of adulthood. I think a minute of regression wouldn’t be so bad. The images, in my opinion, are relaxing to the eye and I hope that it reflects my purpose that is to give a heartful gift. Remember the times we used to wake up early on cold weekends? We were the only ones breaking the silence. How we braved walking on unfamiliar grounds; not knowing what was behind those thick woods. Often, we find ourselves clutching tight on tree branches swaying with the wind Hide and seek was one game we always enjoyed when we were young. Hiding behind the bushes worked most of the time. And how can I forget when we were chased by those nasty dogs? I got unlucky when I tripped over a protruding tree root, turned out to be the best thing to do…fall down When night fell, it’s time to tell stories that scared us. Creatures living in old tall trees were usually the topic. Lying on the grass, tired…we passed the time staring at the clouds looking for interesting forms and how fast the clouds were blown by the wind. When we couldn’t find anything else to do, we just sat and threw pebbles on ponds to create ripples. enjoying the silence, being with our own thoughts or just stared at the reflections and just resting our minds No related posts.
